Begin in Johannesburg and then head to the bush. Spend the next eight days on horseback exploring the 74,000 acres of the privately managed nature preserves that border the amazing Kruger National Park. Days are spent in the saddle and evenings in beautiful lodge or bush accommodations enjoying wonderful cuisine and the awesome African landscape

ITINERARY:
DAY 1:

After an overnight in Johannesburg, we arrive in camp for our orientation ride in the Reserve. Three nights at Wait A Little main camp.

DAY 2:

Morning continental breakfast followed by an all day ride with afternoon picnic.

DAY 3:

Following game tracks, we go on a morning ride. Afternoon at leisure at the camp enjoying aromatherapy or pool facilities or resting.

DAY 4:

All day ride to the fly camp in the Lowveldt Escarpment. By the campfire, surrounded by our horses, we dine and sleep under the stars.

DAY 5:

After coffee and breakfast at the campfire, we begin our longest ride to Makalali Game Reserve. We have an afternoon game drive in an open top Landrover. Two nights at Phiva Camp.

DAY 6:

This morning we ride through the veldt, perhaps running with eland or kudu. After lunch, we take an afternoon ride to a nearby dam to see hippos and crocs.

DAYS 7:

A long ride back to Wait A Little camp. Special farewell dinner at camp using local game.

DAYS 8:

An early wake up for one last ride before transfer to the airport for flights home.
