Since 2004, Wild Rainbow African Safaris has created custom adventures in Africa for its travelers. Owned and operated by Jody Cole, one of the few American women with two of the highest certifications for field guides in Africa: Certified Level 2 Field Guide and Trails Guide from the Field Guides Association of Southern Africa. Jody's love of Africa is matched only by her enthusiasm for sharing it with her guests. She's traveled to Africa over 75 times. She prides herself on meeting her guests’ individual needs and providing each with personal attention.
Based in Sacramento, California, Wild Rainbow offers every one of its guests the opportunity to safely experience Africa and all its delights, from five-star luxury lodges, mobile tented camps and safaris to cultural exchanges and Cape Town nightclubs.
Jody operates Wild Rainbow with a simple philosophy: Make sure everyone has the time of his or her life. She does this by taking the fear and worry out of planning an Africa safari. Her deep knowledge of the region, extensive relationships with local operators and keen understanding of life in the bush makes this possible.
Wild Rainbow is unmatched in the industry as each safari is crafted specifically for each group. Jody has never done the same safari twice. She accompanies her guests every step of the way. Her hands-on approach, humor, deep knowledge of the region and joie de vivre make every activity unique and fun. What does a giraffe do when the safari vehicle bursts into fits of giggles and guffaws? You'll find out on a safari with Wild Rainbow.
No other safari company offers this kind of hands-on, personal attention.
